Ahh beautiful Malta, if you go just to the south of Sicily about 60 miles across the Mediterranean, you will come to this wonderful peaceful little tiny island nation.

Malta is one of an archipelago of three islands, of which it is the largest, being some 122 square miles. A picturesque island with stunning architecture from throughout the ages, holidays to Malta offers a vast array of things to do and see which keeps visitors going back for breaks for year after year.

It has some staggering coastline scenery, with an abundance of caves, coves and even has some wonderful beaches, on which to take advantage of the magnificent weather. Among the attractions that bring the Malta holidaymakers back each year is the islands annual jazz festival; this can be enjoyed during the third weekend in July. And for those that like to go a little earlier in the year, the National folk Singing Festival that occurs around late May.

These attractions can be enjoyed even further when you are experiencing them walking along palm tree lined roads, in a sub-tropical climate with cool refreshing sea breezes. For the sporty type, there are some great waters sports that can be experienced around the island along with some of the best diving locations in the Mediterranean.
